Google Single Sign On

Google Single Sign On

Overview

To explain the three Google Single Sign On Options supported.

We offer three different solutions to login with Google accounts which can be set up.

Google Sign-in

Enabling Google Sign-in is a way to allow any Google user to log into the app with their Gmail address, equivalent to registering.
After logging in, the user will be asked for their role, i.e. Parent, and it can be changed at any time, under their Profile.

Google Workspace Login (Formerly G Suite)

Similarly to Google Sign-in, enables members of the school or districts' Google Workspace (domain) to log into the app, equivalent to registering.

Google Classrooms

Similarly to Google Sign-in, enables members of the school or districts' Google Classroom to log into the app, equivalent to registering.
If users are specified as teacher or students, we can sync that to assign them either the Teacher or Student role in the app.
